Update 11/2019: So as people (read me) are wont to do, I procrastinated on setting up my wifi enabled garage door opener with the app. When I went to do it though, I realized my wall button wasn't the right type. I sent them an email (3 months after install), and they apologized and gave me a replacement. Came through to install it, and even waited to make sure I was able to set it up. 6 star service! Had an awesome experience with them getting a replacement door. I needed reframing on a nonstandard opening, and removal of the door from the 50s and replacement with an automatic system, and they came through. There were some scheduling issues along the way but they were very communicative (and very understanding when i once forgot about an appt). I was even given a credit for the reschedules. Awesome customer service. They quoted me the best rates out of anyone by the way! And they cleaned my gross garage floor for me. I was 110% impressed with their service and highly recommend them.

I got his number from a friend of the family, I gave him a call he told me to send him pictures of the springs that I had and he will get to me as soon as he could, which was the next morning, very reasonable guy and his prices weren't bad at all...few hours later my door was fixed and operating as it was before the springs break..... Call Clayton if you need garage door repairs. He is wonderful. The spring broke on one of the doors. I called him, explained what happened, and I sent him a video. He gave me a quote immediately and came on a Sunday to fix our garage door. He is so personable and offered tips on garage door maintenance to mitigate issues in the future. Excellent customer service. It's so easy to call a big repair company, but I'm so glad I found someone local, who values customer service like he does. Clayton from JR Garage Door is fantastic. I’ve had him repair a door Nd couple years later replace it(30 years old) due to outstanding service and pricing.

I went to JR GD&S website to fill out the Free Estimate request and I received a call from Samantha in less than an hour. She asked me about the details and asked for me to send pictures of the door and the broken spring to ensure they couldget the part and also to give an accurate quote. She called back with the quote but suggested I replace both springs due to the possibility the other spring could break. It was also cost effective to buy 2 vs 1. Clayton arrived on time, asked me a few questions about spring lubrication timeframes, and he started accessing the situation. He gave me two options: replace both springs or he could install one, heavy-duty spring with a higher open/close cycle rating than the two together. It was the same price but I went with the higher rating. He was done in about 1.5 hrs. He also stated that it carried a better warranty in which I will reach out soon to get some documentation for the work. This duo was great with professionalism and time management. My experience with Clayton “Cliff” Smith of JR Garage Door & Services was Five Stars! No other way to describe it. My right-side garage door torsion spring had rusted and busted. I began searching online and I noticed how many friendly reviews were posted from genuine local customers living in my area. I noticed that a local exchange cell phone number was provided along with the two business numbers on the website. So I called it - and Cliff answered himself! As soon as I described my problem, he asked me to send him a phone pic of the door. 5 minutes later he had set up to be in my garage this afternoon and instantly quoted me the total price. The last place I had called was quoting me over $75 more, plus stated that the total price could be higher after completing the job. Their dispatcher was to call back - but never did. Mr. Smith showed up on time. In short, he had the entire job completed, adjusted, and all areas lubed - in a half hour or less. He also gave me pointers on maintenance and care before cleaning up to leave. Don’t waste your time hunting through Google for “the best” - that part has already been done for ya! Clayton is the best - he is so knowledgeable about garage doors, very fairly priced, and just an all around good person. He fixed our old wonky garage doors when we first moved into our house and weren't quite ready to upgrade, then came back and installed brand new doors when we were finally ready. They were so helpful. We had issues with our odd sized garage door and they were able to help us. The door we ordered (from the local hardware store) was broken, so it had to be returned. They even came back late that night to make sure we had it installed that same day. Wish we had called them sooner!

Since the pandemic, it’s been hard to find exceptional service, but I found it here. Not only were they honest about what I needed done for my garage, very communicative and responsive to all my questions but they were reasonably priced!! They showed up on time, got the job done, helped me to program the garage door opener on my phone and cleaned up. He even referred me to someone who could assist me with other services at my home. I recommend their services! Don’t call Premier, Access or whoever, call JR!

Clayton Smith came out to our house in the wee hours of the morning on 2/14/20, our motor went out in the garage and we had no way of getting in the house. After making the call to JR Garage Doors & Service, Clayton was here in a matter of minutes!!!! He was able to get our garage door up and he replaced our old motor (Craftsmen) with a brand new Liftmaster, with new remotes and new key pads all within a matter of 45 minutes. Great experience with JR Garage Door and Services! I backed into my garage door and thought it was beyond repair. I had another company come out to assess the damage and they told me it should be replaced and then tried to sell me on other things I "needed" leading me to believe this was going to cost me thousands of dollars. I'm so glad I happened upon JR services! They were very prompt in responding to my request for a quote. They could have easily upsold me on replacements or other things but instead were honest and said they could repair it for me. They even got out to my house over the weekend to do the repair.
